Course Assessment

Accreditation

Accreditation is the process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented.
Short courses, workshops, symposiums and conferences are accredited with CPD/CME points and delegate successfully completing a course, workshop, symposium or conference and who comply with the relevant assessment criteria, receive a certificate of successful completion from Eloquent Learning Health.

Assessment

Assessment is the process of collecting information about student learning and performance to improve education.
Each module has a written pre- and post-test to evaluate the level of student learning.
All courses include activities such as case studies, literature searches and group discussions. In addition, the practical component includes patient assessments, patient rounds and case presentations. Practical skills development is essential, and learners must display competency in order to receive certification.

Proficiency

Proficiency is the ability to demonstrate a high degree of skill or expertise.
Apart from the normal assessment procedures, proficiency is evaluated during the mandatory practical sessions in a clinical setup where students need to display the level of skills within various fields of wound care as presented in the advanced courses.

Competency

Competency is the ability to do something successfully or efficiently.
All courses therefore include a practical component to develop the necessary skills to ensure that theory can be applied in clinical practice.
